Although Chloe never completed her Championship, she was pointed from the puppy classes. Her litter brothers, Ch Gordon Hill Casablanca "Bogie" was a three-time all-breed Best in Show winner during the late 1980s and Ch Gordon Hill Alabama Slammer won the Sporting Group at Westiminster Kennel Club in 1985. |

Other Gordons came and went thru the years and my involvement with them stayed mainly in obedience competition. When it came to downsizing to a smaller breed, it was without question that it would be a black and tan English cocker. By this time Muriel’s involvement with dogs had ceased, but she was very much an integral part of the dog community and networked me to Linda Robinson of Rustlin English Cockers, Dallas, Georgia. Linda and Ruston Robinson have been involved with dogs since 1976. Their first red English Cocker bitch, Merryborne Sesame produced their multiple Best In Show winner Am Can Ch Rustlin Gallant MacDuff. It is these dogs, along other significant cockers such as, BIS/BISS Am Can Ch Wittersham’s Emblem ECM that is behind Blackstone English Cockers. It is also the help, generosity and friendship from the Robinsons that have made Blackstone English Cockers what they are today. |
